awesome 4th of july weekend!

this is my first 4th of july weekend in san francisco that the sky was clear and the weather was amazing!! unfortunately, the only fireworks i got to see were the ones of the freeway on our drive back to the city. but that's ok, cause it was a wonderful weekend full of awesome weather, amazing people and delicious food! 

kicked off the long weekend at epic for 4 hours of happy hour! we were happy, indeed!! i love it when different friends come together to just enjoy a glass of wine and get to know each other. yay for a beautiful day! "matinee!!!" =)

 

then after dinner at playground (*i realized that i'm a bad foodographer because i get so excited when the food arrives that i forget to take pics of it. i just start digging in!!), we headed to the marina for more drinks and lounging. this was on our way to 3-cha (round 3) in mel's convertible. it was a beautiful night!!

day 2 of my awesome weekend... gluttony continues at "bbq" #1:

*see note above about being a bad foodographer... but, i promise, there was lots of drinking and eating! kalbi cheem, kimchi bokkup bap, chigae, banchan, yummmmm!

bbq #2: rooftop bbq for leah & ryan (*tear!!)

again, i failed to get pictures of the INSANE food sharon (and arthur & gang) cooked for all of us. it included super tender ribs, crack corn, tri-tip, mango salsa (SOOO good!), beet salad, cole slaw, garlic bread... SANGRIA! the night ended with multiple games of mafia. even when i'm watching them play, this game stresses me out. here are some pictures of the awesome day though! 

this is me, being patriotic. =)

LAST (but definitely not least) bbq of the weekend:

went to my friend's parent's house in the peninsula for a relaxing evening among fun friends and a ridiculous amount of YUMMMY food:

AND i didn't forget to take a picture of my food! doesn't this plate look ridiculous??? they also had 7 types of desserts for after dinner.
